Head to the shore, where you can enjoy the sea and sun on beaches stretching for 9km. You can throw yourself into all kinds of outdoor activities and sports. There’s something to suit all tastes: try sailing, catamaran, kitesurfing, paddleboarding or even beach rugby. It’s now or never!
The region will also delight amateur oenologists, as it’s brimming with vineyards, where Grands Crus mix with characterful vintages that you won’t find anywhere else. The proximity of these vineyards means you can explore them by road or mountain bike: it’s the best way of getting to know the region in its entirety. Visit the nearby castles and delve into the history of the town and local villages. You’re in for a grand tour that both young and old will love. Slowly make your way towards the sumptuous town of Perpignan, which boasts an array of historic treasures.
