The wonders of camping in Gironde

Come and stay in our 4 and 5-star bungalows right in the heart of Gironde and be blown away by the majestic seaside landscapes! Campers holidaying in this region of France should visit theDune du Pilat, the highest sand dune in Europe at 100.9m, at the entrance to the Arcachon Bay. Comfortably ensconced on the vast beaches bordering the Atlantic Ocean, our guests can indulge in surfing, sailing, canoeing or jet-skiing with family and friends. For campers who prefer to stay on calmer waters, the Lacanau lake awaits just a few minutes from our luxurious mobile homes!

Guests on our luxury campsite can make the most of their location by driving toCordouan and its lighthouse, the oldest one still in operation in France. It has therefore earned the nickname “King of Lighthouses” or the “Versailles of the Sea”. Campers looking to go off the beaten track should cycle around the streets ofBordeaux and discover the Place de la Bourse and the Saint-André Cathedral, or pay a visit to the Château de Vayres.

With its prestigious wines and its renowned local cuisine, Gironde offers an amazing range of culinary experiences! A glass of Sauternes goes marvellously well with a delicious foie gras, while a Saint-Emilion will bring out the robust flavours of a Bordeaux-style rib steak with cep mushrooms. Campers with a sweet tooth should also try the famous cannelés!

Guests on our campsites can enjoy the many marvels of Gironde at their leisure: the summers here are very warm!
