If you are staying at the Coeur de Vendée campsite, it is essential that you and your family spend a day at Puy du Fou. It is a large medieval amusement park which offers visitors falconry lessons, tournaments, reconstructions of ancient villages, shows at the castle or historical event re-enactments. These activity are sure to interest and delight young and old alike!

Don't forget to explore the Chevrière botanical park or the walking trails along the lac de la Bultière. Some other paths will lead you to some remarkable buildings: the ancient Vendée houses.

Finally, consider also spending a day on a trip to Nantes, at least to admire the Machines de l'Île. There’s something for the whole family here and a chance for unforgettable memories.
