The first exciting thing to explore is of course the coastline and its amenities. Croatia’s beaches are stunning, so take the time to explore and enjoy them... Walking or cycling are great ways to explore inland with its delightful little villages.
The nearby town of Novigrad is wonderful for a stroll, with the views of the sea and the still very active fishing port, and its delicious, authentic little restaurants. You can also take a kayak trip from there when the sea is calm. Otherwise, the whole family can head to Istralandia, a vast well-equipped water park.
Parents can slip away for a romantic trip to a vineyard and cellar to taste one of the country’s delicious wines. Why not stop by the nearby Moreno Ivancic winery and then spend another day at Kozlović?
Novigrad offers charming strolls through its colourful alleys and the remnants of its medieval ramparts. Take the time to admire the magnificent Baroque entrance to Rigo Palace, a local must-see. You can also join in the festivities celebrating the city's patron saint Pelagius over three days at the end of August.
